Lead end‑to‑end data science projects in healthcare, building predictive models, advanced analytics, and data pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS to drive clinical and financial insights.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and statistical analyses to answer critical business questions across digital and translational science domains.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes on AWS, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions, presenting findings through interactive dashboards and visualizations.
- Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering best practices in coding, model validation, and reproducibility.
- Stay current with emerging data science techniques and healthcare analytics trends, recommending innovative approaches to enhance product development and investment decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields within healthcare or life sciences.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Glue).
- Strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with large, complex datasets and building production‑grade data pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
