Lead a high‑impact data science team, building advanced financial models and ML solutions in Python to drive risk, fraud, and revenue insights for enterprise clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary data science team, setting technical direction and ensuring delivery of high‑quality models.
- Design, develop, and deploy robust financial models (credit scoring, risk assessment, fraud detection, revenue forecasting) using advanced ML techniques.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into data‑driven solutions.
- Oversee end‑to‑end model lifecycle: data preparation, feature engineering, algorithm selection, validation, and production deployment.
- Champion best practices in model governance, documentation, and reproducibility across the organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional data science experience with a strong portfolio of financial models.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries (scikit‑learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of regression, classification, time‑series analysis, and anomaly detection techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling data science teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1 or higher).
