Senior Data Science Scientist - Danaher

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine‑learning models to solve complex problems in diagnostics, bioprocessing, and biotechnology.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional scientists and engineers to translate domain knowledge into data‑driven solutions.
• Implement data pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS) for large‑scale data ingestion, processing, and model serving.
• Perform statistical analysis and experimental design to validate model performance and ensure scientific rigor.
• Communicate findings through clear visualizations, technical reports, and presentations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent experience in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Engineering).
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Python, machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn) and statistical modeling.
• Proven ability to build and deploy production‑grade models on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong data‑visualization skills using tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary environment.
