Data Science Manager
The Senior Data Science Manager will lead a team of data scientists, partnering with product, engineering, and design leads to define strategy and drive business outcomes through data-informed decision-making. This role involves guiding technical growth, making hands-on contributions, and ensuring data science practices empower cross-functional teams.
Asana's Data Science team plays a crucial role in fulfilling the company's mission by informing strategy, defining success metrics, and identifying new avenues to deliver user value. Data scientists are integral to deepening customer understanding and driving business outcomes through the application of experimentation, causal inference, statistical and machine learning techniques, and data storytelling.
As a Data Science Manager, you will lead a team of data scientists who collaborate across various product teams to achieve common goals, such as customer acquisition. You will work closely with product, engineering, and design leads to establish the overall team's strategy and direction, while also providing mentorship and fostering the technical growth of your reports.
This role is based in Asana’s San Francisco office, adhering to an office-centric hybrid schedule. Standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays, with Friday work-from-home options depending on the nature of the work and partnering teams.
Asana offers a comprehensive compensation package designed to recognize your impact. The estimated base salary range for this role is between $258,000 - $293,000.
