Senior Data Quality Analyst responsible for overseeing data integrity, implementing governance frameworks, and delivering analytical insights using SQL and data visualization tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of data quality frameworks for NAPSS and HERO systems.
- Conduct data profiling, root‑cause analysis, and remediation of data anomalies across clinical and administrative datasets.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, data validation scripts, and automated quality checks to ensure ongoing data integrity.
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, and business stakeholders to define data standards, governance policies, and reporting requirements.
- Create and deliver clear data quality dashboards and visual reports to support decision‑making.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data quality analysis or data governance within a health or government environment.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data profiling and validation tools.
- Ability to apply statistical techniques to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology, health informatics, or a related field.
