About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain enterprise‑grade data protection solutions, including encryption, tokenization, and data masking across cloud and on‑prem platforms.
- Design and implement threat detection and incident response workflows, integrating SIEM, SOAR, and EDR tools to reduce detection time and improve remediation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess risk, conduct threat modeling, and develop security controls that meet industry regulations (GDPR, CCPA, PCI‑DSS).
- Lead investigations of data‑related incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and produce actionable remediation plans.
- Develop and deliver training and documentation for security best practices and data handling policies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data security, with a focus on protection, threat detection, and incident response.
- Proficiency with encryption technologies, IAM solutions, and cloud security services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001) and data privacy laws.
- Hands‑on experience with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business domains.
