Lead end‑to‑end data engineering and analytics projects, building scalable pipelines, modeling data, and delivering actionable insights using Python, SQL, Spark, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, Spark, and SQL.
- Collaborate with data scientists to transform raw data into structured datasets for machine‑learning models.
- Implement and optimize data storage solutions on AWS (S3, Redshift, Athena) ensuring high availability and performance.
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve data quality and processing efficiency.
- Document data architecture, workflows, and best practices for cross‑functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark for large‑scale data processing.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
