About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 support for enterprise‑grade GCP data platforms, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and reliability issues across data pipelines and analytics workloads.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, ensuring repeatable, auditable deployments.
- Collaborate with data engineering, security, and DevOps teams to implement best practices for data governance and compliance.
- Document incident responses, root causes, and preventive measures in internal knowledge bases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting large‑scale GCP data platforms.
- Proficiency with BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and related GCP services.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑centric mindset.
- GCP certification (e.g., Professional Data Engineer) is highly desirable.
