Data Engineer
Senior Data Platform Engineer leading Snowflake architecture, automation, and security to support enterprise analytics, product, and AI/ML workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Snowflake account, warehouse, and object architecture to meet performance and cost goals.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code repositories and CI/CD pipelines for all Snowflake changes.
- Implement and enforce RBAC, data masking, and other security controls across the platform.
- Collaborate with analytics, product, and AI/ML teams to ensure data availability, quality, and observability.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement of automation and monitoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating Snowflake data platforms.
- Strong background in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling.
- Proficiency with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Hands‑on experience with RBAC, data security, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a remote environment.
