Data Engineer
Lead the design and maintenance of scalable data platforms using NoSQL and graph database technologies, driving data ingestion, transformation, and analytics for enterprise applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and optimize large‑scale NoSQL and graph database solutions (e.g., MongoDB, Neo4j, Cassandra) to support real‑time analytics and data pipelines.
- Develop and maintain data ingestion workflows using Python, Apache Spark, and Airflow, ensuring high data quality and performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to translate business requirements into efficient data models and query strategies.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) for deployment, scaling, and monitoring of data services.
- Implement security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures, and conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data platform engineering with a focus on NoSQL and graph databases.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big‑data processing frameworks (Spark, Flink).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, EMR) and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving mindset, and excellent communication abilities.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and automated testing.
