Senior engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms, leveraging Snowflake, AWS, and Python to enable robust data pipelines and analytics for healthcare solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and warehouse solutions on Snowflake and AWS services.
- Administer, monitor, and tune relational databases to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
- Implement ETL/ELT processes using Python and orchestration tools, ensuring data quality and lineage.
- Establish best practices for data security, governance, and compliance within the platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data platform engineering, with strong expertise in SQL and Snowflake.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, and IAM.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and performance tuning.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally in an agile environment and deliver production‑grade solutions.
