Systems Engineer
Senior analyst responsible for designing, building and maintaining data pipelines, financial reporting dashboards, and governance frameworks using SQL, Python and Tableau to support finance operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support finance data flows.
- Create, enhance and automate financial reporting dashboards and analytical models using Tableau and Python.
- Implement data quality checks, governance standards, and documentation to ensure data integrity across finance systems.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable insights.
- Monitor performance of data solutions, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data engineering within a finance environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python, including libraries for data manipulation (pandas, numpy).
- Experience building visualizations and dashboards with Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Knowledge of data governance, data modeling, and ETL best practices.
