Senior Data Modeler and Analyst with 5+ years of experience designing complex data models (100+ entities) in on‑prem and cloud environments, leveraging Snowflake, Data Vault 2.0, Data Lakehouse, and Big Data tools such as Hive, Trino, and S3.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise‑wide data models using Data Vault 2.0 methodology for both on‑premise and cloud platforms.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Integrate and manage data lakehouse architectures, combining structured and semi‑structured data sources.
- Work with Big Data technologies (Hive, Trino, Amazon S3, HUE) to ingest, transform, and catalog large datasets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into robust data models and reporting solutions.
- Mentor junior analysts and lead data‑modeling initiatives across multiple project teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data modeling and data analysis, preferably in the financial domain.
- Deep expertise with Snowflake and Data Vault 2.0, plus practical knowledge of Data Lakehouse concepts.
- Proficiency in Big Data tools such as Hive, Trino, Amazon S3, and HUE.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to drive cross‑functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
