Data Engineer
Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms using Python, SQL, Spark, and AWS to enable personalized guest experiences and drive revenue growth.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store large volumes of guest and operational data.
- Develop and maintain data models and warehouses to support real‑time and batch analytics for personalization and loyalty programs.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Optimize performance and cost of data workflows on AWS services such as Redshift, S3, Glue, and EMR.
- Implement robust ETL processes, data quality checks, and monitoring to ensure reliable data delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands‑on experience with Apache Spark or similar distributed processing frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda) and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
- Proven ability to design data models, build data warehouses, and create scalable ETL pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
