Senior Data Engineer leading end‑to‑end data pipelines, building scalable ETL processes, and delivering analytics solutions using Python, SQL, Airflow, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Snowflake.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL workflows to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
- Implement and optimize data models in Snowflake, ensuring high performance and reliability for analytics and reporting.
- Automate workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, including monitoring, alerting, and error handling.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, support data‑driven product features, and enable self‑service analytics.
- Apply best practices for data quality, security, and governance within AWS cloud environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools, Apache Airflow, and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue) and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts.
- Proven ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and mentor junior engineers.
