Data Engineer
Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and warehouse solutions using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and AWS to support enterprise‑wide analytics and reporting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize end‑to‑end data pipelines for deposits, servicing, and debit/credit data sets.
- Implement and maintain data warehouse structures in Snowflake, ensuring high performance and data quality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across risk, finance, HR, and marketing to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
- Automate workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow and integrate with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Lambda).
- Perform data modeling, schema design, and enforce best practices for data governance and security.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, with strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Deep knowledge of Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse platforms.
- Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestrating jobs with Airflow or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of AWS ecosystem (S3, EC2, IAM, Lambda) and best‑in‑class security practices.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, communicate technical concepts clearly, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
