Data Engineer
Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and warehouses using Python, SQL, AWS, Snowflake, and Airflow while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into cloud data warehouses.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement data modeling best practices to create scalable, high‑performance data structures in Snowflake.
- Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow, ensuring reliability, monitoring, and alerting for data processes.
- Optimize data processing performance and cost efficiency on AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and Lambda.
- Establish and enforce data governance, security, and quality standards across the data platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with strong expertise in Python and SQL.
- Hands‑on experience building and managing data pipelines on AWS and Snowflake.
- Proficiency with workflow orchestration tools, preferably Apache Airflow.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and business teams.
