Data Engineer
Lead the design, development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and warehouses using Python, SQL and AWS services, ensuring high‑quality, performant data solutions for enterprise analytics.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, SQL and Spark on AWS.
- Design and maintain scalable data warehouses, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize pipeline performance, applying best practices for data quality and governance.
- Document architecture, processes and standards to support knowledge transfer and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong Python and SQL skills.
- Proven expertise in AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR).
- Hands‑on experience with Spark or similar big‑data frameworks.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
