Data Engineer
Senior Data Engineer leading design, development, and maintenance of data solutions on Azure, leveraging Logic Apps, Azure Functions, .NET microservices, and big‑data technologies such as Spark SQL and Databricks.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable data pipelines and microservice‑based data solutions on Azure.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
- Implement and optimize data processing with U‑SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL, and Databricks notebooks.
- Create and document .NET REST APIs to expose data services to internal and external consumers.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to evaluate technology standards and ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Azure cloud services.
- Proficiency in .NET development and building RESTful APIs.
- Hands‑on experience with Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
- Deep knowledge of big‑data query languages and platforms: U‑SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL, and Databricks.
- Understanding of microservice architecture and ability to design robust, maintainable data services.
