Lead complex data engineering initiatives for high‑impact partnership deals, designing scalable pipelines and delivering actionable insights across Amazon’s business units using Python, SQL, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that support strategic partnership analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, data models, and performance metrics for partnership initiatives.
- Implement ETL processes using AWS services (Glue, Redshift, S3) and optimize for scalability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic to support business intelligence and decision‑making.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance across all partnership data assets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on large‑scale data pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, Athena, S3).
- Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with diverse stakeholders.
