Data Engineer
Lead the design and optimization of enterprise‑grade Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions on Microsoft Fabric, building scalable data pipelines from on‑prem SQL Server and driving analytics at scale.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric, following Medallion architecture principles.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines ingesting data from on‑prem SQL Server and other sources.
- Collaborate with product and BI teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver actionable insights.
- Mentor junior engineers, enforce best practices, and promote data quality and governance across the platform.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new Fabric features and data engineering tools to improve performance and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse architectures.
- Proficient in building data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL Server (on‑prem) and data integration tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Excellent communication and mentorship abilities in a collaborative environment.
