About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and modern orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Lead the migration, optimization, and modernization of large‑scale data warehouses on Snowflake.
- Architect and implement cloud‑native data solutions on AWS, including S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Glue.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models and pipelines.
- Establish best practices for data quality, governance, and performance monitoring across the data platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Snowflake and AWS ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Hands‑on experience building and orchestrating ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar.
- Deep understanding of data modeling concepts, schema design, and performance tuning in Snowflake.
- Experience with cloud services (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM) and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
