Data Engineer
Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and platforms on cloud infrastructure, delivering high‑quality data to analytics teams across merchandising, supply chain, marketing, and e‑commerce.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Apache Airflow, and dbt to ingest and transform data from multiple source systems.
- Build and maintain cloud‑native data warehouses on Snowflake, ensuring high performance, scalability, and data quality.
- Implement streaming solutions with Kafka to support real‑time analytics for merchandising, supply chain, and marketing use cases.
- Collaborate with analytics engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver reliable data products.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows, applying best practices for fault tolerance, security, and cost efficiency on AWS.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS) and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Familiarity with modern data modeling, dbt, and streaming technologies like Kafka.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, translate business needs into technical solutions, and maintain data reliability at scale.
