Data Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines for retail media analytics, driving measurement accuracy and forecasting insights using SQL, Python, and AWS big‑data services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store large volumes of retail media transaction data.
- Collaborate with analytics and product teams to define measurement frameworks and forecasting models that support media planning and optimization.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure high data integrity and reliability.
- Optimize query performance and storage costs on AWS services such as Redshift, S3, and Glue.
- Document data models, pipeline logic, and best practices for future maintainability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a retail or media environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big‑data processing frameworks (Spark, Flink).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena).
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of building measurement and forecasting solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
