Data Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines for people analytics, leveraging Python, SQL, AWS, and Spark to transform raw HR data into actionable insights.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines that ingest, cleanse, and transform HR and workforce data from multiple sources.
- Design and optimize data models and schemas in a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake) to support advanced analytics and reporting.
- Implement robust ETL processes using Python, SQL, and Spark, ensuring data quality, lineage, and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver dashboards, reports, and predictive models that drive people‑centric decision making.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve automation and scalability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on analytics or HR data.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark for data processing.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena) and cloud data warehousing.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL best practices, and data governance.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
