Lead the design and execution of data pipelines for SAP’s Enterprise Knowledge Graph, leveraging SQL, Python, and Spark to ingest, transform, and enrich data at scale while ensuring operational excellence and data quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that feed the SAP Enterprise Knowledge Graph, ensuring high throughput and low latency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data models, ingestion strategies, and enrichment processes for complex enterprise datasets.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to guarantee consistency, accuracy, and reliability of the knowledge graph.
- Optimize performance of ETL workflows using SQL, Python, and Apache Spark, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Document data flows, schema changes, and operational procedures for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably within an enterprise software environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Apache Spark for large‑scale data processing.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP data platforms and knowledge graph concepts.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL best practices, and data quality frameworks.
