About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain large‑scale data pipelines and lakehouse architecture on AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena).
- Develop and optimize SQL and Python ETL workflows to ingest, transform, and enrich data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Implement data quality frameworks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure high data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models that drive clinical and financial insights for specialty drug benefits.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices in data engineering and DevOps.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AWS services.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data tooling (Airflow, dbt, Spark).
- Hands‑on experience building scalable, production‑grade data pipelines and lakehouse solutions.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL best practices, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset in a fast‑paced environment.
