Senior Data Engineer driving end‑to‑end data pipelines on GCP, integrating Adobe Analytics clickstream with Salesforce, POS and CDP systems, and building scalable transformation frameworks with Dataform and BigQuery for analytics and AI initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform to ingest and transform Adobe Analytics clickstream data.
- Integrate data from enterprise sources such as Salesforce, point‑of‑sale systems, and customer data platforms into a unified semantic layer.
- Build and optimize data models and transformation scripts using Dataform and BigQuery, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with analytics and AI teams to provide clean, well‑documented datasets that support self‑service BI and Gemini‑powered AI use cases.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and automated testing to guarantee data integrity across the pipeline.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience building data pipelines and warehouses on GCP, with deep expertise in BigQuery.
- Proficiency in SQL and a programming language such as Python for data manipulation and orchestration.
- Experience with Dataform (or similar data‑transformation frameworks) and integrating marketing analytics tools like Adobe Analytics.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data integration patterns, especially with Salesforce, POS, and CDP systems.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and mentor junior engineers.
