Data Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based data platforms for finance, ensuring robust data governance, modeling, and agile delivery to support enterprise analytics.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable cloud data pipelines and platforms for financial data.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
- Design and refine data models that support business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver incremental value.
- Optimize performance and cost of cloud data services, monitoring usage and troubleshooting issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in finance.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data services (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Airflow, or similar).
- Hands‑on experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
