Data Engineer
Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and scaling a modern cloud data platform using Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Fivetran, and RudderStack to deliver reliable data products for analytics, reporting, and machine‑learning initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a scalable data platform on AWS, leveraging Snowflake for storage and compute.
- Implement ELT pipelines using Fivetran and dbt to ingest, transform, and model data from diverse sources.
- Build and manage data integration flows with RudderStack to capture event‑level data for real‑time analytics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements, ensure data quality, and deliver production‑ready data assets.
- Establish and enforce data governance, documentation, and monitoring practices to maintain trust in data pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience building data platforms in the cloud, preferably on AWS.
- Strong expertise with Snowflake, dbt, and modern ELT tools such as Fivetran.
- Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for pipeline automation.
- Experience implementing event‑streaming or customer‑data platforms like RudderStack.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with analytics, engineering, and product teams.
