About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain high‑performance ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks and Snowflake.
- Develop Spark jobs and data transformations using Python/SQL to support reporting and machine‑learning workloads.
- Design and implement data models and lakehouse structures in Azure cloud environment.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and security through testing, monitoring, and governance best practices.
Requirements
- 7–8 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a focus on ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, and Azure services.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development.
- Experience designing scalable data architectures and data lake/warehouse solutions.
- Solid understanding of data governance, performance tuning, and cloud‑native best practices.
