Data Engineer
Senior Data Engineer leading end‑to‑end data platform design, building scalable ETL pipelines, and delivering analytics solutions using Python, SQL, Snowflake, Azure and Airflow.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with solution architects and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust data platform designs.
- Lead a team of data engineers in building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines on Azure cloud services.
- Design and implement data models and warehousing solutions using Snowflake, ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance.
- Develop and orchestrate workflow automation with Apache Airflow, monitoring job health and handling failures.
- Write production‑grade Python and SQL code for data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment across diverse source systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud‑based platforms (Azure) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake).
- Proficiency in Python programming and advanced SQL for complex data transformations.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and operating ETL pipelines and workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, data governance, and performance tuning.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and driving technical best practices within a collaborative team environment.
