Senior Data Engineer who drives data quality and accessibility for catalog solutions, using Python, SQL, and AWS to design ETL pipelines, model data, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to close gaps in product and supply‑chain data.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and diagnose gaps in product, supply‑chain, and classification data that hinder business processes.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data models to improve data accessibility and readiness.
- Collaborate with merchandising, supply‑chain, compliance, and analytics teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Leverage existing tooling and platform services (e.g., AWS data services) to automate data quality checks and monitoring.
- Provide actionable insights and documentation to enable downstream teams to consume clean, reliable data.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, and ETL development.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline orchestration.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data quality issues across complex domains.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
