About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and lakehouse architectures that ingest, transform, and serve large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Leverage Python, SQL, and Apache Spark to build efficient ETL workflows and data models that support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with federal security clearance requirements across all data assets.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, high‑performance data solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in a complex, mission‑critical environment.
- Experience with data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Valid security clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
