Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines on AWS using Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes that support real‑time and batch workloads.
- Optimize query performance and cost efficiency in Amazon Athena and related data stores.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
- Establish best practices for data governance, security, and monitoring across the data platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AWS services.
- Proficiency in AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and Athena; hands‑on experience building scalable ETL pipelines.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and performance tuning for large datasets.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines for data workloads.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
