Data Engineer
Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and warehouses using Python, SQL, Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS services to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
- Build and optimize data models and warehouses in Snowflake to enable self‑service analytics.
- Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow, ensuring reliability, monitoring, and alerting.
- Implement data processing solutions with Spark and Python for high‑volume, low‑latency workloads.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
- Apply best practices for data governance, security, and performance on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands‑on experience building production‑grade pipelines.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) and big‑data processing frameworks like Spark.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL best practices, and data governance principles.
