Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data solutions, driving architecture, data modeling, and cloud integration to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data architectures, including data warehouses, lakes, and marts, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
- Lead data modeling efforts, creating logical and physical models that support reporting, analytics, and data science workloads.
- Architect and oversee ETL/ELT pipelines, selecting appropriate tools and technologies to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to define data governance, quality, and lineage standards.
- Drive cloud migration and optimization strategies, leveraging AWS services such as Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lake Formation.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering best practices in data architecture and design patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong background in relational and big data technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT design.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services (Redshift, Glue, S3, Lake Formation).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks is a plus.
