Senior Data Architect leading the design and implementation of data marts, data models, and enterprise data warehouse solutions using SQL, ETL processes, Python, and cloud data platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of data marts and enterprise data warehouse architectures.
- Create logical and physical data models that support analytics, reporting, and machine‑learning initiatives.
- Define and implement ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse) and related technologies.
- Establish data governance standards and best practices for metadata, security, and lineage.
Requirements
- Master’s (or Bachelor’s with 3+ years experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in data modeling, SQL, and designing large‑scale data warehouses.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and scripting languages such as Python.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms and modern data‑stack technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders.
