Senior Data Architect (Hands‑on) leading end‑to‑end data solutions for MEP digital workflows, driving data architecture, modeling, and cloud‑based analytics using SQL, Python, AWS, and Spark.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures that support MEP digital workflows across design, fabrication, and installation stages.
- Lead data modeling initiatives, ensuring robust schemas for structured and unstructured data in data lakes and warehouses.
- Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using Python, Spark, and AWS services (Glue, Redshift, S3).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide hands‑on guidance on best practices for data engineering and analytics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or senior data engineer in a complex, data‑rich environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS cloud services (Glue, Redshift, S3, EMR).
- Strong background in data modeling, ETL design, and Spark/Databricks.
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
