About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and govern end‑to‑end data pipelines, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance with aviation regulations.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data models and schemas.
- Design and optimize ETL processes using SQL, Python, and big‑data frameworks, delivering high‑quality, reliable data assets.
- Implement data governance, security, and quality controls across cloud and on‑prem platforms.
- Mentor and lead a cross‑functional team, fostering best practices in data architecture and analytics.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong focus on aviation or aerospace data.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big‑data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data lake solutions.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL design, and data governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
