Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise data solutions on SAP Business Data Cloud, driving data strategy, architecture, and engineering excellence for complex, cloud‑native environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable data solutions on SAP Business Data Cloud, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Design and implement data models, ETL pipelines, and data integration workflows across on‑premise and cloud sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize data storage, processing, and query performance using SAP HANA and related technologies.
- Lead data governance initiatives, including metadata management, data quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on SAP Business Data Cloud.
- Proven expertise in SQL, ETL design, and cloud data platforms (SAP HANA, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).
- Hands‑on experience with data modeling, performance tuning, and data governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, able to work cross‑functionally.
- Experience with Python or JavaScript for data automation is a plus.
