Senior engineer responsible for designing, automating and scaling data pipelines and analytics infrastructure for strategic finance, using Python, SQL, Snowflake, dbt and Airflow to deliver reliable, AI‑ready data foundations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end‑to‑end data models that support strategic finance reporting and forecasting.
- Build, schedule, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Airflow, dbt, and Python to ingest operational and financial data.
- Manage Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring performance, security, and cost‑efficiency.
- Automate manual data workflows, reducing processing time and error rates.
- Collaborate with finance analysts and leadership to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Lay the groundwork for AI/ML integration by delivering clean, well‑documented data sets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics, preferably in finance or SaaS environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data‑modeling concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow for data warehousing and pipeline orchestration.
- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda) and cloud‑based data architectures.
- Proven ability to automate complex workflows and deliver production‑grade data solutions.
