Senior Data & Analytics Engineer responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines on Azure using Airflow, Data Factory, and Fabric, while ensuring high‑performance analytics and reliable data delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow on Azure.
- Implement end‑to‑end ETL processes with Azure Data Factory, integrating diverse data sources into a unified analytics platform.
- Leverage Azure Fabric for orchestration, monitoring, and fault‑tolerant execution of data workloads.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models and reporting solutions.
- Optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Establish best practices for data governance, security, and documentation across the data ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency with Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Fabric.
- Hands‑on experience in SQL and Python for data transformation and automation.
- Deep understanding of Azure cloud services, data storage options, and security best practices.
- Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable data pipelines and troubleshoot complex data issues.
