About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines and dashboards to track operational performance and crime trends.
- Perform advanced statistical analyses and predictive modeling to support evidence‑based policing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
- Ensure data quality, integrity and compliance with privacy regulations across all reporting outputs.
- Document analytical methodologies and maintain knowledge base for future reference.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis within a law‑enforcement or public‑sector environment.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn) and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, with a portfolio of dashboards.
- Strong statistical background, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis and time‑series forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
