Senior Data Analyst responsible for turning complex healthcare datasets into actionable insights using SQL, Python, and Tableau, while building data models, performing statistical analysis, and supporting health‑equity initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform large-scale healthcare data from multiple sources to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to communicate trends and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Design and optimize relational data models and SQL queries for performance and accuracy.
- Apply statistical methods and predictive analytics to identify patterns that improve patient care and health equity.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including clinicians, product managers, and engineers—to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the healthcare or life‑sciences sector.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
- Strong expertise with Tableau (or similar BI tools) for creating clear, stakeholder‑focused visualizations.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and statistical techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations.
