Senior Data Analyst with 10+ years of experience in Medicaid data, specializing in large-scale claims, enrollment, and pharmacy analytics using SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to deliver actionable insights and robust dashboards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze extensive Medicaid datasets, including claims, enrollment, provider, eligibility, encounter, and pharmacy records.
- Gather, document, and translate business and data requirements from Medicaid stakeholders into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data validation scripts for accurate data extraction and analysis.
- Perform in-depth analysis of claims adjudication, member eligibility, provider networks, and reimbursement processes.
- Design, build, and sustain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and timely delivery of insights.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis within the healthcare or Medicaid domain.
- Proficiency in SQL, including advanced query writing and performance tuning.
- Strong experience with BI platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Medicaid data structures, regulations, and reporting standards.
