Data Analyst
Lead the design and execution of enterprise data governance for P&C insurance, driving data quality, stewardship, and regulatory compliance through IDMC platform implementation and advanced metadata management.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and mature the enterprise data governance strategy, roadmap, and operating model for P&C insurance domains (Claims and Legal).
- Establish data ownership, stewardship, governance councils, and decision forums across business and technology.
- Drive governance adoption to improve underwriting accuracy, claims efficiency, regulatory reporting, and analytics enablement.
- Lead IDMC platform implementation and configuration, including Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, Data Catalog, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage (technical and business).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality standards and policies are embedded in data processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or related roles within the insurance industry.
- Hands‑on expertise with IDMC or similar data catalog/metadata platforms.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance data domains, regulatory reporting, and analytics enablement.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in data modeling, data lineage, and metadata management concepts.
