This role is part of the BMO North American Collections Analytics Team , focused on driving data-driven decisioning to optimize collection strategies and operational performance. The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytics to monitor collection trends, identify risks and opportunities in third-party assignments, and influence performance outcomes through incentive design and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and visualize trends across the end-to-end collections process to identify performance gaps, emerging risks, and opportunities
- Evaluate third-party agency performance and uncover optimization opportunities in assignment strategies
- Support the design and refinement of employee incentive programs to drive desired performance outcomes
- Develop dashboards and reporting (e.g., Power BI) to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Partner with operations, strategy, and risk teams to translate analytical findings into business actions
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve collections efficiency, effectiveness, and overall portfolio performance
- Documents data flow, systems and processes to improve the design, implementation and management of business/group processes.
- Develops tools and delivers training programs for use of reporting tools and self-serve analytics by non-analytical end users; may include delivery of training to audiences.

Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in analytics, with a post-secondary degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in statistical and analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, and Python
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards strongly preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex analytical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for a broad audience
