About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse gaming telemetry sources.
- Build interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to communicate performance metrics and trends to cross‑functional teams.
- Apply statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to evaluate game features, monetization strategies, and player behavior.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights that inform design and business decisions.
- Document data models, methodologies, and analytical findings for internal knowledge sharing and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis within the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong Tableau skills with a portfolio of published dashboards.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with A/B testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
