Security Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of advanced security controls, incident response, and vulnerability management programs across enterprise and cloud environments, ensuring robust protection against evolving cyber threats.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce security architectures and policies for on‑premise and cloud infrastructures.
- Lead incident response activities, including detection, analysis, containment, and post‑mortem reporting.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Manage and tune SIEM platforms, threat intelligence feeds, and security monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and system designs.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior security staff.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network, cloud, and application security.
- Proficiency with SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and incident response frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys) and penetration testing methodologies.
- Experience securing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent) and a solid understanding of regulatory standards (HIPAA, GDPR, NIST).
